The focus of this project was to renovate and upgrade the large conference room for the Mayor of Chattanooga with an aggressive timeline. With the goal of refreshing the look of the room as well as implementing major technical upgrades, the room was transformed into a beautiful, state of the art meeting room for the mayor to use as a collaborative hub while serving the City of Chattanooga. The replacement of the existing wallpaper with new wall coverings and architectural acoustical panels gave the room a fresh new look and feel while also providing much needed sound dampening. Extensive electrical work was needed to prepare the space for the various audio and visual upgrades that were planned, including a new screen wall and the incorporation of cameras so certain events can be recorded or even live-streamed. Through careful collaboration and quality execution the room is now an attractive, modern hub for the Mayor of Chattanooga to serve the people of Chattanooga.

With the aggressive schedule and the types of upgrades this project consisted of, it was our goal to carefully consider the Owner’s expectations during the bid process and relay those expectations to our subcontractors. Through this consideration it allowed an efficient construction timeline because of the planning from the design team, the City of Chattanooga, and the construction team. We are incredibly thankful to those who helped make this project a success for the Mayor, the City of Chattanooga, and its citizens.
